Christina and Wes

Christina and I met in college and shortly thereafter were married. We moved to Michigan and began serving our community through the local church and school systems. Then, we decided it was time to have children—talk about upgrades! Four children later, we are still learning this parenting thing. (As a side, our children believe that dieting brings children—not storks—but that is a story for another day.) 

Some upgrades bring glitches. What used to work gets impacted by the upgrade. The tech world calls these “bugs.” In 2022, I experienced a dark season. I was struggling with the demands of my careers and my home life. My emotions went haywire and impacted all those around me. Life’s upgrades almost crashed the system. God used this season in our family to transform our lives and ministry. 

As with many parents, we have learned to navigate our calling, careers, community, and health on the fly. While relationships still don’t come with manuals, we pray that what we have learned along the way may bless your family.
